  • My something old and my somthing blue are covered at the same time! My mom gave me a vintage blue handkerchief that used to belong to my grandma that I'm going to tuck into the bodice of my dress.

  • My something blue is going to be the Atlanta Braves garter I am going to wear to suprise my new husband. He has LOVED the Atlanta Braves since he knew what baseball even was. I can't wait to see the look on his face!

  • My godmother bought me a cute silver and blue rosary bracelet on her last trip. Since we're doing a traditional Catholic ceremony, this rosary will be my something blue.

  • I don't have anything blue yet, but I am thinking that the blue will be part of the garter. I have seen a really cute one that would have our initials embroidered on it in blue.

  • I have lots of "somethings blue"! My flowers will be delphinium, which come in dark blue and a light blue. I will also have a blue garter.
    
    The wedding colors are blue and silver, so my girls will be in blue dresses with blue jewelry. The organza bags that hold the favors are also blue!

  • My wedding dress. Not only do I look horrible in any shade of white, off-white or ivory but I never pictured myself walking down the asile in a traditional wedding dress. Instead I bought a midnight blue bridesmaid dress from Eden Bridals and I adore it!

  • My something blue is my Mom's beautiful aquamarine engagement ring from my father who passed away when I was 7. Although I know he is always watching over me, I will have a constant reminder on my special day every time I glance at my right hand.

  • At my bachelorette party this sweet guy gave me a pearl necklace with a blue heart. I wore it after our toast during the reception. Instead of saying, "don't do it," he said, "congratulations." It reminded me that there are people out there who actually respect marriage. I was honored to have that necklace.

  • I'll wear the blue sapphire ring my grandparents gave me when I graduated college. (my birthstone too!) I also have a vintage blue floral handkerchief. Since I'm a total waterworks, I know I'll need one to dab my eyes. (Thank god for waterproof mascara!)
